Modern Digital Television

Denmark turned off the analogue television broadcasting on 31 December. October 2009 and simultaneously opened a new digital antenna television network – what is called "the terrestrial digital Sendenet" or "Digital terrestrial Television" – DTT. It gives a lot more TV channels "in the air" – but frankly – was that? What other options are the digitisation of radio waves – and what does it mean for the individual and for society that "television" has now become digital "?

Carsten Corneliussen is the Strategy Advisor for DR in distribution issues and spokesperson for it with TV 2 owned DIGI-TV – and was responsible for information and communication in connection with the digital transition.
