Eske Willerslev is a Danish DNA scientist and professor at the Copenhagen University Centre for GeoGenetics of the state natural history Museum. He is a member of the fairy Tale Club, like his twin brother Rane Willerslev, and has led a number of expeditions to, among others. Siberia and Greenland, just as he has lived as both fur hunter and Indian. He has disputed a number of prestigious professorates and received a multitude of awards, including the Rosenkjær Prize and the Genius Award from Danish science journalists for his ability to put science and research on the public agenda with his in-depth Knowledge and entertaining stories.
