Do you know a high school teacher who teaches science in a very special, vibrant and inspiring way?
Can the teacher pique students' curiosity about science and raise their professional level? Is the teacher actually the reason why students are applying for higher education in science?
Then you have a great opportunity to help pay tribute to them. Now there is a call for nominations for the H.C. Ørsted Bronze Medal, which is awarded to an inspiring high school teacher with a very special ability to teach science. The awards aim at honoring and promoting the good dissemination of science.
Both pupils, teachers and principals can, preferably jointly, nominate secondary school teachers for the medal of the year. The medal is awarded by the Society for the Dissemination of Natural Science, and it is sponsored by the energy company Ørsted.
