Call for settings for H. C. Ørsted Gold medal in chemistry

The company for the spread of naturalist (SNU) has decided to award 2 awards in connection with the 200 year of H. C. Ørsted's discovery of electromagnetism. The prices consist of a gold medal and a travel grant of DKK 75,000 and are financed by the company Ørsted.

The first is awarded in Chemistry in the autumn of 2019 and the next in physics is awarded in 2020, Snuden'S Executive Board has set up a nomination committee consisting of the following persons

Options for the chemistry price consisting of motivation and a full CV should be sent to the Chairman of the nomination committee by 31 march 2019 at the following email: Klaus.bock@privat.dk

There is no application form. However, please stay within 1 A4 sheet with normal legible typography for the motivation. There are no restrictions on the length of the full CV.

The gold medal and the prize are expected to be presented by Her Majesty the Queen of the Royal Science Company during the autumn of 2019

Criteria for awarding the H.C. Ørsted medal

The H.C. Ørsted Medal in Gold is awarded for excellent scientific work in the fields of physics and chemistry. There must be world-class research and the beneficiary must have published in the last six years. Further information on the criteria for awarding the H. C. Ørsted gold medal can be found in the attached document.
